On July 15, Izvestia reported that Huawei has resumed exports of smartphones and other peripheral electronic products to Russia, citing sources close to Huawei and a number of electronic product manufacturers. "A new batch is on its way to delivery," the source said.

Elidar Murtazin, chief analyst at Russia's Mobile Research Group, also said on his Telegram channel that Huawei has resumed exports to Russia. He pointed out that within two weeks, Huawei products will be available on the company's website and partner websites.

At the beginning of June this year, Huawei announced the closure of its official website in Russia. Initially, 4 of Huawei's 19 experience stores ceased operations. The reason for the shutdown is that Huawei has insufficient inventory of electronic products and spare parts in Russia.

The Huawei Moscow Authorized Service Center at Sukharev Metro Station said the main problem was a shortage of batteries and screens, and all spare parts could only be ordered, as did Huawei Authorized Resellers in Ryazan and Kaluga.

At the same time, according to smartphone sellers, demand for Chinese-branded electronic products in the Russian market has grown significantly. At present, Chinese products account for up to two-thirds of the Russian market.

Experts pointed out that after Apple and Samsung stopped supplying Russia, sales of Chinese mobile phones increased. According to data provided by MTS, in the second quarter of 2022, Xiaomi ranked first in the Russian smartphone sales rankings, Samsung was squeezed to second, and Realme's proportion rose from 8.3% to 13%.
