What is the temperature range of the LCD screen?

January 24, 2017

LCD screens can be divided into military grade, industrial grade and commercial grade. The temperature range of LCD and operating temperature range are different.

LCD can be divided into military LCD, industrial LCD and commercial LCD.

Military grade - refers to military equipment such as missiles, satellites, tanks and electronic components on aircraft carriers. Any part of it is now state of the art, 10 years ahead of the industrial grade and 20 years ahead of the commercial grade. The price is also the most expensive, the accuracy is also the highest.

Industrial grade - slightly below military grade, followed by price and accuracy

Commercial-grade - The computers and phones traded on the market are mostly commercial-grade LCD screens. Microsoft, for example, makes the cheapest, most common, and most practical chips in the commercial grade, all military grade.

LCD Operating temperature range of the LCD

The normal operating temperature range of commercial grade LIQUID crystal devices is 0℃~+50℃, general industrial grade is -30℃~+70℃, military grade is -40℃~+85℃.

In addition, there are some LCD devices for car instrument screens from -40°C to +85°C.

But generally our liquid crystal module temperature is divided into two categories, one is the operating temperature range, the other is the storage temperature range. The operating temperature of the LCD module ranges from -20° TO 70°, and the storage temperature ranges from -30° to 80°.
